Connecting Garmin

Link your Garmin Connect account so Voya can pull workouts, sleep, weight, and HRV.

If you have a Garmin watch, you can connect it to Voya so the coach has access to your workouts, sleep, weight, HRV, body battery, stress, and step counts.

How to connect

  1. Go to Profile → Integrations in the app.
  2. Click Connect Garmin.
  3. Enter your Garmin Connect email and password.
  4. If your Garmin account has 2-factor authentication on, Voya will ask for the code Garmin emails you. Paste it in.
  5. Done, Voya is linked for the next year (Garmin's session length).

What gets pulled

Voya only pulls data when you ask the coach for it. Nothing happens automatically in the background.

When you say things like "pull my workouts from this week" or "how did I sleep last night," the coach fetches what's needed and explains it.

Privacy

Voya stores your Garmin email and password encrypted (AES-256-GCM) so it can refresh the connection when needed. We never share your credentials, and we delete them immediately if you disconnect.

What about Apple Health or Strava?

Both are supported alongside Garmin. See Apple Health and Strava for setup. If you connect more than one, Voya intentionally keeps every source's copy of a workout rather than guessing which to drop, you can clean up duplicates from the workout detail page.
